NSW: Teenager to appear in court over Redfern riot

Another teenager has been charged over the February riot in the Sydney suburb of Redfern.

Police say the 14-year-old boy was arrested yesterday and charged with riot, affray,
violent disorder and malicious damage.

The teenager was released on bail to appear in Bidura Children's Court on April 19.

The riot, in which residents clashed with police, was sparked by the death of Redfern
teenager Thomas Hickey who died when he was impaled on a fence.
