VOORHEESVILLE -- The Voorheesville Public Library is a new community destination where mothers and fathers have an opportunity to learn about parenting while their young children play.
"Our library was approached by Middle Country Public Library in Long Island to be the thrust of the program upstate," said Joyce Laiosa, head of youth and family services at the library and an adjunct professor at University at Albany. "The program has worked to promote libraries as a place where families will feel welcome and nutured."
